Published music settings

The Liturgy Office has created a list of musical settings of the new translation of the Mass. The list is far from complete so keep an eye out for updates.

Music suggestions for next Sunday

Note: Sundays 17–21 are thematically linked by Chapter 6 of John's Gospel, leading from explanations of the Eucharist to Peter's Confession of Faith.

Perhaps we could link these Sundays with:
  • a Gospel acclamation which is not used in the preceding or following weeks
  • a set of Eucharistic Acclamations
  • a Communion Processional with a common refrain and different verses for each week.
Songs which could be used over several weeks include:
Bread for the world – Bernadette Farrell (Sundays 17–20)
Come and eat this bread – Marty Haugen (Sundays 18–21)
Eat this bread (Communion Song) – Taizé (Sundays 18-20)
I received the living God – Anon (Sundays 18–20)
Taste and see (Communion Song) – Nick Baty (Sundays 19–21)

Now we remain – David Haas (Sundays 19-21)
